exceedingly excessively extremely 的区别

exceedingly作“很”，“极其”（very much）解：

1) Chinese is an exceedingly difficult

language.

汉语是一种非常难的语言。

2) Everyone in the class is studying

exceedingly hard.

这个班各个学生都极其用功。

excessively则作“过多地”，“过度地”（too

much）解：

1) She takes an excessive interest in clothes.

她对衣着的关心太过分了。

2) It was excessively cold for a day in spring.

这一天太冷了，不像是春天。
